Regiments were allowed to alter band musicians uniforms as the commander saw fit. Here lyre badges are on a non-regulation white hat and the coat collar. The white pants are also non-regulation. The back of this photo postcard reads, "Dave Whitlatch, my chum from 5" Infty, now paid off."
