Father Turns in Own Son as a Deserter.

The SOVEREIGN EMPEROR, consequent to a report submitted by the Minister of State Domains, was pleased on 14 October 1840 to order: Announce that cossack Luk’yan Vyshar, of the village of Balakliya, Khorol’ District, Poltava Province, for turning in his son, a deserter, has gained HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY’S gratitude, and give him a one-time award of 50 silver roubles from the State Treasury.
