British Soldiers in White Uniforms, Kamptee, India, 1893.
Kamptee was a British military cantonment town originally called Camp-T, and is now a suburb of the city of Nagpur. These three soldiers are dressed in all-white uniforms suitable for the hot season. I can see five buttons down the front, shoulder straps. I do not detect any pockets. The back of the photo is inscribed, "Jolly old pals - Kamptee 1893".
