Argentina Navy and Army, 1930s.
Two photos of naval officers and one of army officers came bundled together from Argentina. The naval officers appear to be on shore leave in one of the French-speaking Carribean islands. Maybe it's one of the smaller places, because their expressions seem to show boredom and disappointment at benig all dressed up with nothing to do.
Below: These army officers seem to be having a much better time as they enjoy their lunch under the trees. It must be during maneuvers since one of the officers has a cloth band around his cap, the kind used to denote umpires during field exercises.
